Ann Hoeffel is Owner/Director of The Sun Center, established in 1985 in Chicago, Illinois. Ann has been in private practice and studying wholistic healing systems professionally since 1984. She has over 4900 hours of training, and counting. |

Since 1997, Ann has taught and trained practitioners through her continuing education courses in various cities in the US and in Canada. Currently, she teaches mostly in Chicago. (See Workshop Schedule.)
Ann's certifications include: Nationally Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (BCTMB), Nationally Certified as a Continuing Education Provider (NCBTMB), Registered Advanced Instructor and Advanced Practitioner of Ortho-Bionomy®. She is a qualified CranioSacral Therapist (CST), practicing since 1987, Hypnotherapist (CHt) since 1991, VortexHealing Practitioner since 2006, and a Licensed Massage Therapist and long-standing member of the American Massage Therapy Asssociation since 1985. Ann studied Metaphysics, Yoga, the intuitive arts, visual arts and language arts for years prior to her training in the healing arts. She speaks French semi-fluently, having spent a year living in Paris. Ann earned a BS in Education from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
Before immersing herself in
the healing arts, Ann had a ceramic studio, The Clay Place, and worked as an artist in fiber and
ceramics (specializing in Raku and ceramic sculpture) She taught both adults and children. At that time, she also taught
Art, French, Movement and Yoga, with a special joy for
teaching and learning from children. She loves to photograph and paint nature.

Chicago.
